add Deville Photography on

If you have read the Anne Rice novel "The Queen Of The Damned", you already know the character called Akasha.
So now you know the origin of my first name...my last name, D'Eville, is because I am the Enchantress of Evil profound, a vampiric mistress and a night blood feeder...

Originally from Lisbon, Portugal,
I've been living in London, UK since 2006.
In
July 2010, I met Morticia and I fell in love with her. She's is the most amazing hairless sphynx cat in the world, she's gorgeous and so smart! I'm proud that I taught her how to use the toilet and drop the litter. She does her business in the toilet like Mr Jinx (from "Meet the Parents") ha ha ha!

I was a fetish/pinup/alternative model for 8 years until recently when I decided to focus on my photography.
I was the very first alternative Portuguese model to be in international fetish websites.
Please feel free to browse the GALLERY for hundreds of free samples of my modelling.

Although successful as a model, in 2010 I decided to turn my full attention towards my photography which have been my main passion for more than a decade.
I have a simple outlook on photography - "Different is fun!".
I think the purpose of art is to evoke emotion and my photos surely do that.
My work as a photographer is under the name of
DEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY and it tends to lean towards gore, horror, the macabre, fetish, alternative and pin-up/burlesque themes with a twist.

On October 2007, I finished Charles Fox's "Casuality and Special-Effects" course , so I'm a certified make-up artist specialized in horror and gore. I can do glamour make-up as well, but as a horror fanatic, my passion is to create shocking and powerfull gory images with my macabre imagination.
Please visit
SFX MAKE-UP for some samples of my work.

From December 2009 till March 2010, I worked with GOREZONE magazine on their "Emily Booth's Movie Massacre" DVD Series (Free MONTHLY with Gorezone Magazine).
You can take a sneak peak at the official stills here: FILM WORK

I have my own line of horror greeting cards called "Deville Goreetings" and my side project of cute & horror accessories called "Devilicious Accessories ®". You can find them here: SHOP

I consider myself as being a strong and independent woman with a taste for the macabre.
I'm very passionate about photography, tattoos and music.
I'm into Metal. The louder and faster, the better...
My favorite type of movies are horror/gore.
Love B-Horror movies (that everyone thinks are disgusting), macabre Asian horror, Romero's old school zombie flicks and Dario Argento's bizarre and gore-filled death film scenes.

Akasha of Deville Photography is sooooo cool, and easy to work with...she knows exactly what to do and having her around makes you feel comfy like hell :)

Akasha is such amazing photographer - can thoroughly recommend her. Not just that but a nice person too - so easy to work with!!

Akasha is super cool and she's not some crazy pervert psycho killer!
I even invited her to my birthday party!
It was super comfortable shooting with her.
She even fed me. Well, a whole big ass tub of popcorn. it was salty and good, but a little bit more butter would have been nice, but then I'd end up getting a bit too oily I think!

Akasha is a creative genius with her photography and special effects makeup.
She directs well and is professional fun and friendly
I had a wonderful 2 day shoot and hope for more in the future
thank you Roze x
awesome MUA/Photographer. Very professional and fun!
would definatley work with again!

Akasha has already taken some awesome photos of Arch Enemy in London 2007 and 2008. She's one of the best photographers ever imo. She does music, gore, macabre, fetish, alternative, and pin-up/burlesque photography, and is also a really talented special effects make-up artist... AND - she's f*cking nice
Other people have tried to do the Coop curvacious Devil girl look, but I think Akasha's the only one who really nailed the look.
This lady is one of the most tallented gals ive met! She has an awesome wardrobe, awesome look and awesome attutide, apart from that, she's a mean tog too - so watch out you lot!
Would I work with her again? - YES!! :)

Akasha is an excellent model to work with. She needs no direction, can pull off expressions with great ease, and on top of that looks gorgeous. Any tog is a fool not to work with her!
Akasha D'Eville is an amazing photographer - working with her models to create exactly the right image.
Not only is she completely professional, but she has an eye for detail many others lack.
Always aiming to achieve more - she helps models work within the situations she makes. Her MUA/ SFX work is also first rate.

She worked with me on one shoot, preparing for months before hand. If you are looking for a dedicated, inspired, and talented photographer - you've just found her... :-)
Wow! is all i can say about working with Akasha! She is a wonderful photographer to work with, beautiful both outside and in, with such imaginative ideas, and outstanding skills! Akasha made me feel at ease the whole shoot, and time just flew right out of the window.
Not only did we get amazing images, but she also improved my modelling skills! It was an honour to work with her! :)
