November 19th 2008:
Long time no update!
I've had my trip to Phoenix, AZ it was amasing! I had a nasty flu on the first days but thank goodness got better and could enjoy my holidays. The weather was hot, I visited Phoenix, Sedona, The Grand Canyon, experienced life in the desert, saw lots of cactus, rattle snakes and scorpions, went on a Harley Davidson ride (with no helmet!), drank lots of milkshakes (yummy!), took lots of photos (landscapes and had a photoshoot with model Kandy), went to a Pinup Fashion show, went to a Demolition Derby at the state fair, took photos of my friends hot rods, dressed up as a french maid zombie for Halloween...
I had such a fantastic time! Thanks Amy for being such a good host =)
Last November 09th I finished my half sleeve (right arm), with Kamil, and it looks amasing!
I've updated this website with some new goodies! Introducing... DEVILLE GREETINGS !

September 10th 2008:
My life changed dramatically over the past 15 days:
» I've moved to a new trendy flat and living by myself (in central London, paying a small fortune, but you get what you pay for) and even has enough space to set up my own photography studio;
» lost a friend (by sloth and envy...Women's the Devil and God is a fraud...);
» have a new boyfriend =)
Photography wise I have many bookings scheduled till mid November, and now I just need to find some free time for my personal life (not everything is about work) and for the new - very special - person in my life.
I'll be gracing the front page of Skin Deep magazine very soon.
I'm excited about the London Tattoo Convention, (26, 27 and 28th September) and I'll be there! Wohoo!

August 15th 2008:
I'm organising a Special Effect make-up class on the 18th of October (just before Halloween, in London, UK).

July 26th 2008:
As I'm fully booked for the whole month of August - guess that's a good sign - I decided to update the website with some paypal buttons that were missing and 2 new sets - my pride and joy - Bride of Re-Animator and Serial Killer Ed Kemper. The photoshoot was on May31st but I decided to spend more time processing these sets as it was my first attempt on HDR and I didn't want to screw up the photos. I also did a retro movie poster (A1 size) of the Re-Animator photoshoot that looks very cool and it's ready to be shipped for those who want to add some reanimation into their room.
Check out the new photos on DEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY.
On July 12th, I had the photoshoot for the front cover of Skin Deep magazine.
Ashley, the photographer, was fun to work with and he took stunning photos of me! Ashley and I will colaborate together again in a near future.
I can't wait for the magazine to be out!
Next week, one of my friends from Portugal, will arrive in London and she's here to stay. We'll be going to the Intrepid Fox on August 2nd to celebrate, hell yeah!

July 9th 2008:
I burned out the past yesterday...burned my old memories of "El Lay"... the books he gave me ... the paintings he offered me ... all in the past ...
(the present .... is to clean up the mess I did at the balcony!)
I wonder if I'll ever feel a human feeling again besides hate, anger, despise...
» I've booked myself a trip to Phoenix, AZ in October (23rd October to 2nd November), to cheer me up!
» Will be with my one of my best friend Amy and we'll have a "Thelma & Louise" adventure on a Harley Davidson (without the sad ending)
» Will have a photoshoot (as a model) with one of my fav photographers: Andy Hartmark
» Will have a photoshoot with the stunning Xanthia Doll (as a photographer)
» Will probably shoot with some Arizona models (as a photographer)
» Will do painting with light in the desert
» Will spend Halloween while I'm at Phoenix!
» Will aim to have fun :)
... back in London...
Gary, from Rue Morgue, asked me for some photos of me for his 70's style mega poster to anounce the Festival of Fear, so I asked Squodge to have a photoshoot with me, and Gary got the photos and is working on them as we speak.
I'm thrilled to be amonst the "monsters" of the Horror industry :)
....and.....
I have the photoshoot for the Skin Deep front cover very soon, so I'm so excited !!
Life isn't that bad after all... so why am I behaving like an emo?

June 22nd 2008:
I've been very busy prepping the photos of the Re-Animator photoshoot and my Serial Killers Tribute. The first killer that I decided to reencarnate into photography is one of my favourites: Ed Kemper. Whenever I look at those photos it makes me laugh, they are controversial but funny. I'll keep it a secret for now, but I have plenty of Serial Killers of the 20th Century to bring back to life! Finding the right model and making prostethics from scratch, takes time, but keep passing by my website 'cause I'll have new photos and a new sale very soon!
Good news: I won the 1st place on Bizarre's Ultra Vixens - June2008 issue (click HERE to see the winner photo of Violet Eyes, photography and SFX make-up by me).
Also, Angela Gossow (of Arch Enemy) had one of my photos (that I took of Arch Enemy's concert last April) on her myspace avatar for quite a while. She uploaded the photos on her website. Click HERE to see. I'm the proud owner of the (unique!) Arch Enemy top she was wearing at The Defenders of the Faith Tour (concert in London), set list and a few more goodies =) thank you Angela, you're the best!!!!!
I was in Lisbon, Portugal last week, the weather was excellent and I partied hard with my friends. Now I need some time off to sleep! I convinced an old friend to move to London, she was having a miserable life in Lisbon and I'm going to give her a hand. She'll arrive in London on July 30th and she'll be my new flatmate!!
London ....beware... mwhahahah !
Yesterday I got more ink! Kamil is starting my inner arm (of my sleeve) and it's hurting like a sonofabitch !!! In 2 months time it's finished, can't wait! It's looking really cool!
I uploaded alot of new photos on DEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY, check them out!

June 1st 2008:
One month without internet due to problems with my supplier... I didn't realise how internet-dependent I was! I believe everyone relies on technology to comunicate or to express themselves and it seemed I was back to Stone Age when I was deprived of internet for 30 days! Well, back to normal now and I managed to update my website with quite a few photos: 2 photosets (me as a model) shot in January (please check the GALLERY ), some new photos on the
SFX MAKE-UP section, and many updates on DEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY.
Yesterday - finally - I photographed an old idea based on one of my favorite horror films: The Re-Animator
A studio was hired, 2 models, a lighting assistant and even a film crew to make a documentary; I just wanted to be perfect!
The stars of this project are:
me » as the photographer & Special Effects Make-Up artist;
Count von Bek » as Dr Herbert West;
Cici Von Crypt » as the bride;
Squodge » as the lighting assistant
We were 8 hours in the studio, setting up the lighting, doing the gore make-up and we even had a real chemistry lab with the "glowing green reanimation fluid"
We are all very pleased with the results, it was a very good team work and I'll update the photos here very soon!

April 28th 2008:
Last saturday, April 26th : Defenders of the Faith Tour with Opeth, Arch Enemy, Devildriver, 3 Inches Of Blood.
I was proudly one of the photographers on the pit, fotopass given by Angela Gossow (of Arch Enemy), my gratefull thanks to her! What more can I say? Four amasing bands who gave a hell of a show and I have stunning photos, sooo happy!
I never get tired of watching Arch Enemy live, Angela never ceases to impress me! She's an unleashed metal animal, so much energy! I love to look at the photos I took, it brings back good memories and I'll never know how to thank her for all the good memories she has given me... I'll upload the photos very soon.
On April 12th, I took photos of model Eleanora Faith, who wanted some burlesque and some medieval gore. She's such a beautifull model, looked a bit like Drew Barrymore and the photos turned out stunning! Even when she has a slit throat some people say that the gore is unnoticeable because she has such a pretty face. I'll upload the photos very soon.
On April 20th, I shot tattooed model Lady Frankenstein, as a cabaret zombie girl with a can of beer stuck on her skull (special FX on course). It looks amasing, we had lots of fun and the special effects I've done look very realistic and gruesome, I'm very pleased with the results!
I have sooo many new photos that need to be uploaded here that I don't know where to begin! ha ha! and next friday, I'm very excited to be allowed to take photos of the inside of the The Gherkin, the famous landmark of London who won several awards (actually it's called the 30 St Mary Axe building, or Swiss Re building). Those photos will be for a travel magazine publication, August issue.
I'm on vacation next week for 1 week but after that I promise to start uploading all the photos I've been taking for the last month or so...and believe me, they are ALOT!

April 4th 2008:
My b i r t h d a y was on March 29th.
On that same day I started a new half sleeve on my right arm. It's japanese style, a Maneki Neko (fortune cat). Only with 2h30 and already looks very cool! I'm loving it!
The tattoo artist is Kamil Mocet from Kamil Tattoos. It will be finished in June.
This week I've got some great news about upcoming publications, so keep your eyes open and you'll see my photos - as DEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY - in several magazines!
I'm very excited about it!
On April 15th, I'm going to see WWE ECW & Smackdown at the 02 Arena in London.
I have excelent seats, on the floor & ringside. I bought the ticket the first day it was on sale, last October, and the good seats sold out in a couple of hours!
I've been a fan of Wrestling for such a long time...I still remember the debut of The Undertaker! ha ha! This will be the first time I'm going to see WWE live, so I'm soooo excited! And you might even see me on tv =P ha ha
My website reached over 10000 hits! wow, thanks guys!

March 22nd 2008:
While I was updating DEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY ,the
LIVE SHOWS & LANDSCAPES category, I receive an email from Angela Gossow (of Arch Enemy) confirming my Fotopass for the upcoming concert in London on the 26th of April: Defenders of the Faith Tour with Opeth, Arch Enemy, Devildriver, 3 Inches Of Blood.
I'm so excited! I love all the bands that are going to perform there, but being given another oportunity, by Angela herself, to photograph right on the pit my favorite band - Arch Enemy - simply rocks my world!
That's it, I'm making it official now: I'm building a shrine in honour of Saint Gossow - Angela Gossow! ha ha I admire her so much, for being a "woman with balls", so powerfull, yet so down to earth and kind to her fans. I love her to bits <3
Alright, I just finished updating DEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY ,the
LIVE SHOWS & LANDSCAPES category, the best photos that I've been shooting in concerts since I've moved to London, including the photos I took of Arch Enemy and are featured on Angela's website.
And if your favorite band is listed on my page, here's your oportunity to purchase an exclusive photo of your idol - just click on the paypal button under it!

March 20th 2008:
On March 15th, fetish model and actress Roze Thorn came to London to shoot with me and she stayed over at mine for the weekend. She's loads of fun and not afraid of the public! The proof is that while I was shooting her dressed with a latex catsuit and a gasmask, outdoors, in front of the statue of Peter The Great (in Deptford, London), a group of 50 tourist arrived for a tour! ha ha! The tour guide guy was cool about us being there and he continued the tour performing a 10 minutes story play about Peter The Great. And Roze dressed in a latex catsuit while I was doing her SFX make-up! At the end of the tour, a policeman that was escorting the tourists, asked us if we were part of the play! ha ha how funny!
After a while we had to go home 'cause it started to rain. We had a nice evening watching horror movies, eating popcorn and drinking my home made sangria (yummy!).
The next morning, I set up my studio and we had a pinup erotic balloon photoshoot... hard to explain what that means, but I'll upload the photos on DEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY very soon. Roze is a sweetheart and it was such a pleasure to work with!
On March 17th I went to Kumi Monster's birthday party at the Electric Birdcage in London. Only a few selected friends were there and luckily I was one of them. Cici Von Crypt went with me and she was amased how down to earth and friendly Kumi is. The venue was very cool and the cocktails were yummy! It was a fun night!
I've just updated DEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY with the photoshoots of Cici Von Crypt last February.
Did you know that you can buy the prints that I shoot as a photographer? All you need to do is to click the paypal button under the photo you want and you'll receive the print on the confort of your home in a few days!
I'll update the
SHOP this weekend, for the Spring Sale, with lots of discounts and "buy one get one free" goodies!

March 10th 2008:
On February 23rd I had a photoshoot with model Cici Von Crypt.
Awww she's simply adorable, so damn cute, the perfect classic pin-up with a beautiful smile and the curves in the right place. We did some "twisted pin-up" where she's eating an arm (a SFX prop that I made from scratch!) and then we did a classic pin-up shoot against vinyl records. Made me realize how I missed shooting pin-up style!
I'll upload her photos on DEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY very soon.
On February 29th I went to this industrial, gothic, fetish club called Club Anti-Christ.
The venue was huuuge! Several floors, industrial dance floor, gothic dance floor, fetish floor with performances...it was different but I loved it! I went with Cici Von Crypt (she's great fun!) and with my friend Michael (he wanted to go as the Devil, so I did his devil make-up in 5 minutes, just after we got in the club, ha ha but he looked cool!).
I was dressed all in latex and there were some photographers that got some snap shots of me at the dance floor with Cici ha ha and we were quite "intoxicated"... fun night! Club Anti-Christ will have another night of mayhem on April 25th. Can't wait to go there again and smack some bums ha ha!
My b i r t h d a y is on March 29th. I decided to give myself the best present in the world: a tattoo! I went to Kamil Tattoos, were the talented Kamil Mocet has his new tattoo studio, and we scheduled my half sleeve (right arm) for March 29th.
I'm so excited about it!! Can't wait for more ink!!!

February 16th 2008:
Here I am again in good ol' London. I had a great time in Los Angeles, CA!
The weather was nice and hot and the company was even hotter ha ha I miss him already...
Hope you had a good Valentine's Day with lots of love and cheesy fun things!
I updated the photoset I did with model Violet Eyes last month. This is pretty scary stuff for people that are not used to horror/gore, so you were warned...

SFX MAKE-UP
by me. The photos are on the BLOOD & GORE category: DEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY.

February 03rd 2008:
Tomorrow I'm travelling to Los Angeles, California.
I'm quite familiar with the East Coast ('cause I travelled around the United States and actually lived in New York for 2 months, 10 years ago) but I've never been to the West Coast and I'm very curious about it.
I've been doing a countdown for quite a while now ha ha. I'm really looking forward for the warm weather and spending some quality time with a very special person.
Internet access is extremely limited, so any emails will have to wait till I get back.
I'll be back to London on the 15th.
Meanwhile, have you seen the new photos, by Dean Wilkinson, at the GALLERY ? Please do, they look amasing!

January 19th 2008:
Happy New Year!
This is my first free weekend of 2008. It has been non stop...shoot after shoot...
Last weekend, I went to Grimsby (north of England) to shoot with the talented Dean Wilkinson (as a model), and next day I was a photographer and make-up artist for model Violet Eyes.
Dean's photos blew me away and I'll uploaded them here very soon.
The shoot I did with Violet Eyes was a bit over the top...the special effects make-up is so realistic that the photos were deleted from websites such as myspace or netmodel in just a few hours... I think I'm doing a good job, 'cause that was the reaction I was looking for! ha ha I'll upload the "censored" photos here very soon but you can take a peak of the thumbnails on my updated
SFX MAKE-UP page.
