ARCHIVE 2007

December 18th 2007:
I have been so busy uploading my work as a photographer that I forgot to update my work as a model.
I updated 2 new sets: "Succubus", shot last October by Squodge featuring me and the goregous model Lucifera GoreWhore and another set called "Mon Chéri" shot on December 16th, again by Squodge.
This last set is dedicated to a very special person ...
Please check the new photos at the GALLERY.
I'll be heading to Portugal next December 22nd to spend Christmas with my family. I'll be roaming the streets of Lisbon till the 26th. If you happen to see me and want to say "hello", don't be shy, I don't bite... hard! mwahahah!
Merry Christmas everyone!

November 25th 2007:
Have you ever cried of happiness?
This has been so far the most fantastic year of my entire life.
I'm so blessed or maybe just lucky...
The mightiest metal tour in years was in London 24th and 25th of November;
"THE BLACK CRUSADE" brings together four of the leading lights in metal = Shadows Fall, Trivium, Dragonforce, Arch Enemy and Machine Head.
Angela Gossow (of Arch Enemy) kindly offered me a Fotopass and a VIP After-Party for the whole weekend. It was amasing to be a photographer at the pit for this huge event! No flash allowed though...so the photographers needed to be quick enough to get the light spot on, as well as the band with the right expression... quite a challenge, but I'm happy with what I've shot.
Mingling with the musicians was fun! Some are down to earth (Angela is the most down to earth, kindest person I've met), others act like stuck up their arses rockstars (don't want to mention names) but it must be such a great feeling to listen to fans singing the lyrics you wrote... wow...
I already have posted some pics on my myspace, and soon I'll update all the photos here. Keep it metal !

November 19th 2007:
There's a website called "Satanic Sluts" (which I'm part of it).
They now launched a book called "Blood & DisHonour: the dark, bloody and perversely erotic world of the Satanic Sluts".
The launch party was today and I'm on the book as a model, and I also have one photo (self-portrait) as photographer DEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY !
The book looks amasing, great layout, excelent photography and very good print.
The party was held at the Marquee Club in London, and there were about 200 people there. Alot of photographers, magazine editors, website owners, and of course "The Satanic Sluts" models.
Model Elyssia (featured on the book as well), performed a gore show and free wine and beer were flooding from the bar till 12:30am.
I already have a copy of "Blood & DisHonour"... have you got yours? The book was launched worldwide. Check your local book store or order online at the official website: "Salvation Films" or at Amazon.co.uk.

November 18th 2007:
My website has a new "face lift"! The whole DEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY section is changed into a new and "easy navegation" layout where you can see most of my photos as a photographer, and you can actually buy the prints. The SHOP also changed and will always have lots of goodies at a discounted price.
It took me a while to have everything ready to go "online", but finally I built a site that I can be proud of (and for someone that is self taught in web designing, you'll have to admit is not bad at all!). Many thanks to Steve of Deathbed Bride who made the new flash intro on the front page.
Browse around and leave me a comment on my GUESTBOOK on what should I change/improve, or just congrat me on the hard work I've done.

October 26th 2007:
Those who know me, know that I'm a horror/gore film fanatic since I was a kid. Special effects (or SFX) make-up always interested me, to know the "making off/behind the camera" of such beautifull gruesome creations!
So I decided to add a little more into my portfolio (and already busy schedule): to go on a course of "Casuality and Special Effects Make-Up" that Charles Fox (one of the main suppliers of Film, Theatre, TV and Fashion make-up in the UK) was offering, just before Halloween. It was very personalized, only 5 persons (including me), with a very professional make-up artist for over 14 years. She taught us how to cast body parts, work with wax, foam latex, liquid latex and gelatin to create deformities, and the different kinds of bloods. It was so usefull and I can't wait to try it on a model!
Before I took this course, on October 21st, I had another photoshoot with male model Hellmade. I went for a day trip to Gloucester (north of England) where I would bury him alive and take photos... yes, it's true! He dig a 6'' grave in the middle of a forest, put a headstone saying "RIP HELLMADE" and I did his special effects make-up (very disgusting looking zombie with an eye hanging = think of Hostel 1, the japanese girl at the end of the film). It took about 3 hours, but it looked amasing for someone that had little experience with special effects make-up! Make-up artist Satinder helped providing fake guts to hang on Hellmade's belly. Some of the photos are already on Deville Photography's myspace and I'll upload them here soon.
Happy Halloween !

September 25th 2007:
I am sooo happy and proud ! *does the happy dance*
My photos as
DEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY, taken with my old Fuji Film 601Zoom, of Bloodstock Open Air Festival 2007, are on Angela Gossow's website !!!
I sent the photos to her email and she replied saying that she loved the photos and even offered me a Fotopass for Arch Enemy's upcoming concert in London "The Black Crusade": November 25th with Machine Head, Trivium, Shadows Fall..... so I sent the photos to her webmistress Nina and they are on display on her website!
Click here to check them out: Angela Gossow of Arch Enemy
Hell yeah!

September 22nd 2007:
Today I came across a possessed model with a fetish by latex clothes... and I had to perform an Exorcism! "The Exorcist" is a horror classic and I had to give my tribute to the great 70's movie. I had model EmmaJ as the possessed one, make-up artist Tomoko and even a small aparence by photographer Squodge as a sinfull priest. It took 3 hours to create the gruesome make-up, and a few more to create my magic as a photographer.
It was a fun shoot and the photos will be on DEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY very soon.

September 11th 2007:
I'm updating the DEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY
section on this website, so it will have a new layout very soon.
Just to let you know, I'm on Rimfrost - issue 14 (alternative magazine from Norway). Yay!
My photos are shown as one of the models of The Whores of Babylon modelling agency and interview given by Destiny West, one of the managers of the agency.
Order your issue by clicking HERE.

September 1st 2007:
August 2007 was probably the best month of my life!
I achieved most of my goals and I'm really proud of myself: I photographed one of the most famous fetish models of the world - Kumi Monster; I went to a 3 days metal festival called Bloodstock and finally saw one of my idols - Angela Gossow of Arch Enemy; one week after I saw another of my favorite bands - The Black Dahlia Murder and met Trevor, the vocals (very nice and down to earth guy!); and I have a new job!
For your info, I work full time as a corporate travel agent - monday to friday, and just 1 day after the interview they called me and said "You've got the job". I'm so proud to be going to work for one of the best Business Travel Agencies in the world! I'm sad about leaving my current collegues, they are such great fun, but I'm always finding new ways of improving myself and whenever I can, I grab opportunities by the balls.
Will start my new job within 1 week, I'm very excited.
I uploaded my most recent photoset called "Darkness Embraced" by one of my favorites photographers Distorted Retina , so check out the GALLERY.

August 11 th 2007:
Weekend...a free weekend, finally! Although my 9 to 5 job is not extended at the weekends, I've been shooting non-stop since I arrived from my holidays in mid July. Some as a model, some as a photographer.
I uploaded at the
GALLERY my latest photosets as a model, but I still need to spend alot of time uploading my work as a photographer DEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY ...
As a photographer, my latest photoshoots were with Lilac Fushia, Kimera-Hydra, Elyssia and last weekend I shot with the world famous fetish (and latex obsessed) model Kumi Monster ! It was such a fun and original shoot, I'm so happy with the photos!
As you can see there were some minor ajustments on the website and there will be even more surprises as I'm learning Flash and this website will be updated very soon.
For those that live in Portugal, you might have seen me on TV tonight (SIC channel).
They were talking about tattoos and my photos showed up! (Those that are exposed at Atomic Tattoo Studio, the "Fetish Photography Parade" photos taken by the talented portuguese photographer profanArte )
For more info about the "Fetish Photography Parade" click HERE.
Thank you for those that called me straight away congratulating me! I was not expecting to be on TV ... hehehe

July 29th 2007:
Today - finally, after almost 2 years trying to arrange a shoot! - I shot with Martin Wilson a.k.a. Distorted Retina. We had a couple of crazy ideas and we decided for a mud shoot, as Britain is flooded, we got together looking for muddy locations to shoot. But for our frustration, it was all dry! Only green grass, hay fields, but no mud! Nooooooo! It was a waste of time trying to find a location that might not even exist, so we did the shoot on his studio. We had alot of mud and I covered myself with it. I think it was my hardest shoot as a model, as it felt horrible and I was nude and cold, but it was all worth it!! I admire his work for years and it was a pleasure and an honour to shoot with him - finally!
I have been so busy latelly as a photographer, I need to upload ALOT of photos into
DEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY : I have to upload the shoots I did with Sou DeSade while we were in Portugal, then after I came back I shot with the stunning Lilac Fushia and then the burlesque performer (and one of my favorite alternative models) Kimera-Hydra.
As a model, I also had a photoshoot with Andy Dendy. This time was not the London Underground... it was an abandoned green house in South London (we had to break in to get in there shhhhh!) The photos look amasing and I'll upload them as soon as I have some free time.
I have some photoshoots booked (as
DEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY ) with well recognized models in the alternative scene... but for now I'll keep it a secret. Keep passing by to my website and I know you won't regret it !

July 3rd 2007:
I'm on holidays in sunny Lisbon, Portugal. I'll fly back to London on friday, the 13th.
Sou DeSade
will join me on the 6th, it's going to be so much fun!
Good news for those living (or visiting) Portugal at the moment: Atomic Tattoo Studio ( R. da Alegria, nº27, Lisboa ph: 213433832, estação metropolitano "Avenida") is holding a "Fetish Photography Parade" with my photos taken by the talented portuguese photographer profanArte. I haven't seen it yet but I can't wait! I'm so excited! What a great surprise!
And what a great month July is: Metal Hammer magazine ( August issue ) is out! That's the issue I'm in it with the band Akercocke for the "Spanish Inquisition" !!! wow I'm so happy and excited !! I can't wait to see how the photos turned out!!
So, all you metal heads, don't forget to buy it!!

June 20th 2007:
I finally uploaded the 3 photosets that Miss Lucy Fur and I shot with the crazed genius photographer Matt Miller, last April 8th.
They are called "Desperate Housewives", "Armed & Dangerous" and "Complicity" and are ready for public criticism on my
GALLERY !

June 3rd 2007:
Yesterday I had a gore shoot, as Deville Photography with male model Hellmade.
It was bloody fun working with him and he was confortable when I wrapped him with real barbed wire and fake blood. We actually used a real lamb's heart for the shoot... disgusting... but the photos speak for themselves: Click on
DEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY to check the samples of the shoot.
Last weekend, May 26th I had a photoshoot, this time as a model, with the talented Noel Taylor (Samurai_B)
We both had some crazy ideas and I just love the few photos he already sent me! One of the shoots was based on the 1976's movie "Carrie". First you'll see me cute as a button, blond, and then the classic "Carrie covered in blood" part. We did the shoot outside my flat in London and it was fun to see the neighbours scared faces hahaha!
We did several shoots: one based on "Lady Deathstrike" (X-Men 2), then a cartoon bunny getting out of the TV "The Ring" style as I was looking scared holding the remote in front of it, and lastly we went downtown and I was wearing a "Madonna style spiked boobs" corset pretending I was screaming with the Big Ben on the background. He will manipulate the image with UFO's and will set Big Ben on fire as if it was an alien attack!
What a fun day! I'll upload the photos as soon as I have them all.
And I still need to upload the photoshoot I did with Matt Miller last April 8th. It was a 50's style shoot.
But now I'm going out and enjoy this the beautifull sunny sunday!

May 11th 2007:
Today I had a shoot with the metal band Akercocke for Metal Hammer magazine !
I can only tell you that the theme was the Spanish Inquisition and me and model Elyssia "tortured" Jason and David of Akercocke with wips, chains and ropes.
Keep an eye for Metal Hammer magazine, you'll see me there really soon...

May 5th 2007:
Last weekend, on April 29th, I had a photoshoot, with the stunning Miss Lucy Fur, as DEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY.
The theme was a "gothic lolita" blowing bubbles at the cemetery. The photos turned out great, macabrely beautiful like I pictured it in my mind.
Click on DEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY to check the samples of the shoot.
!Feliz Cinco de Mayo!

April 24th 2007:

Yes, my birthday was on March 29th and I made a short trip to Glasgow, in Scotland, to visit my friend Sou DeSade and to shoot her for the Whores of Babylon ( as

Sou DeSade and I also had a few multiple photosets scheduled with Fozzie of the Night and they were so much fun!!
I finally uploaded all the 8 photosets I shot in March.

It was such a fun shoot! Photos will be posted at the GALLERY very soon....

Feb 03rd 2007:
It's Saturday evening in London, rush hour for those going to the pubs and I had a shoot at the tube !
The photographer was the fantastic Andy Dendy and he had a permit to shoot at The Underground otherwise we'd get in trouble with all the tight security and cameras... nevertheless ... I had the guts to pose wearing tight mini clothes and 8'' heels in front of so many people! It was fun looking at the shocked faces of the Londoners.
The photoset is called " The London Underground " and it's already at the GALLERY !

Jan 28th 2007:
I upgraded my camera to a Nikon D70s ! Yay! Let the fun begin ! :)
I'm accepting bookings as a photographer although my schedule is starting to be very busy, so hurry if you want
DEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY to take a shot of you!

Jan 09th 2007:
My first photoset of 2007 was shot last weekend. The photographer was the talented
© Squodge Photography and the set is called " Bulletproof ". Some people say that I have weapons of Mass Turbation hahaha, is it true? See it for yourself at the GALLERY !

Jan 02nd 2007:
Happy New Year everyone !
Since I arrived in London from my fabulous holidays in Lisbon, Portugal, I have been partying non-stop.
On Dec 29th, went to the " AntiChristmas Bash " , a black/death/grindcore metal gig with zombie burlesque at a London venue called The Purple Turtle. It was loud & rowdy & fun !
On Dec 30th, went to the NEW Intrepid Fox (the old pub closed and they opened again in a new place). There were a couple of familiar faces like Charles from Cradle of Filth and my fellow model friends Kimera Hydra and Elyssia (they were performing burlesque that night). Again... fun night!
On Dec 31st, New Years Eve (or how they call it here: New Years Eveel), went to a metal pub called Marlborough Head. They had 2 floors, one with classic rock and another one with metal. Lots of headbanging and loud music, not that I'm not used to that, but not on the New Year's!
I posted some photos on my MYSpace Blog, so click HERE to check it out.
Hope you all had a fun New Years and hopefully 2007 will be even better than the last year !
